BUSINESSES are being urged to take advantage of the facilities offered during UK Trade & Investment's Export Week.

Running from November 10-14, the event provides seminars, workshops and market briefings to provide practical advice on doing business overseas.

Now in its seventh year, UKTI has continued the tradition of holding the event at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham. This gives the opportunity for businesses in Worcestershire and Herefordshire which export, or are interested in exporting, the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge about market trends, emerging markets, and network with like minded business delegates.

While there is a variety of different events being held across numerous locations in Birmingham, the main event is Explore Export on Wednesday. November 12. This gives visitors the chance to meet face-to-face with commercial experts from British Embassies from more than 60 countries around the world, including all of the high-growth economies that offer great export opportunities.

The local UKTI team will be in attendance over the course of the week's events, giving businesses the chance to liaise with the advisors to find out more about the variety of ways in which UKTI can support businesses overseas ambitions. There are also international trade training courses and events being held in Worcestershire for businesses unable to get to Birmingham.

For more information on booking a place at any of the events during Export Week, contact UKTI on 0845 641 1613 or at internationaltrade@hwchamber.co.uk.
