A LOCAL social enterprise has launched a new Malvern Hills calendar with all profits going to support St Richard’s Hospice.

The calendar was created by Malvern-based Shuttersphere, a photography social enterprise, and features twelve images from in and around the Malverns.

The company was founded by amateur photographer John Wynn of Malvern, who is aiming to raise money and awareness for a number of charities in the UK and farther afield.

All profits from the sale of Shuttersphere’s Worcestershire images go to St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester, which provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Mr Wynn said, “I was fortunate enough to spend time volunteering at St Richard’s and see first-hand the amazing support the charity provides. I enjoy taking the photos and being able to use them to help St Richard’s is a win-win.”

St Richard’s fundraising director Tricia Cavell added: “John has taken some fantastic and atmospheric photographs which make for a stunning calendar. He has been very generous giving his time to volunteer for St Richard’s and we are thrilled this has motivated him to help us raise even more funds towards our patient care.”

The calendar can be purchased online at www.shutter-sphere.com/calendars or in store at St Richard’s Great Malvern, Malvern Link, Barnards Green and Upton shops. It costs £9.99.
