BUSY times ahead at Worcester law firm SME Solicitors, which has four new faces around the water cooler.

The business in Sansome Walk has shown its commitment to supporting local young talent with recruitment of the quartet as part of a expansion plan.

Hannah Halden, Elizabeth Meddings and Eleanor Rushforth have all joined SME’s residential conveyancing team. Miss Halden joins as a legal assistant, currently undertaking her LLM legal practice course. Miss Meddings is a trainee chartered legal executive lawyer, set to qualify in June 2015, and Miss Rushforth is a trainee solicitor, qualifying in 2015.

William Cadbury has joined the employment and litigation department as a paralegal. He will be assisting partners Guy Salter and Yvonne Tivey dealing with both employment law and dispute resolution matters. Mr CAdbury will also be assisting Stacey Redman with debt recovery issues.

Brian O’Connell, senior partner at SME, said: "We are delighted to be in a position to add to our team, choosing talented individuals who not only show dynamic legal aptitude but are based here in the Worcestershire community. There is a huge talent pool to be sourced from this area and we are committed to growing both our business and contributing to the county’s economic growth from here on our own doorstep. Their arrival at SME is the start of a wave of recruitment to boost the firm's offerings and expertise to clients across a range of departments."
