AN annual business breakfast meeting is to be held in Pershore to discuss implications of the government’s recent Autumn Statement on business rates for the coming year.

Attendees will also get the chance to hear about major investments in the Wychavon district as well as the area council’s budgetary plans and business rates for the coming year and find out more about support available from the government’s new business growth service.

Phil Merrick, head of community services at Wychavon District Council, said: “This is always a great opportunity for businesses to come together and hear more about our plans, the support that’s available as well as the all important latest proposals for business rates. This year there is also the added incentive of breakfast being provided by the local award winning Deli @ Pershore. ”

The event is on Wednesday, January 21 and runs from 7.30-9.30am at the Civic Centre, Pershore. For attendance contact Jane Dobson on 01386 565278 or jane.dobson@wychavon.gov.uk ASAP to ensure adequate catering is provided.
