TWO new management appointments have been made at Evesham Country Park, the multi-million pound retail and leisure re-development scheme by Investment and property company Eagle One.

Spencer Gower is the new retail asset manager while Maria Hughes takes up the new post of centre manager.

With more than 15 years property management experience, Mr Gower has spent the last 10 years specialising in retail and shopping centre asset management. He will continue to work across a number of Eagle One’s property investments in the south west region and is now responsible for leading the continued commercialisation, marketing and launch programme of Eagle One’s flagship, the 125-acre Evesham Country Park site. Prior to his appointment by Eagle One, Mr Gower worked in a variety of senior commercial and asset management roles for CBRE Global Investors and Warner Estate Holdings.

Reporting to Mr Gower, Ms Hughes is joining the Eagle One team after being centre manager for Regent Court in Leamington. She has more than 10 years experience in retail and property management and at Evesham will be responsible for all site operations including hard and soft facilities management, health and safety and managing tenant relationships, as well as marketing and events.

Mr Gower said: "I was extremely pleased to have been appointed to this role. The development at Evesham Country Park is undoubtedly one of the most ambitious, innovative and unique new retail and leisure destination construction projects currently underway in the UK. We are keen to accelerate its growth and we are currently securing high tenant demand with some exciting new retail occupants to be announced early in 2015. I am also delighted to welcome Maria to Eagle One. Her experience will be invaluable.”

Ms Hughes added: "Evesham Country Park is one of the most exciting out-of-town retail and leisure developments in the country and I am delighted to be part of it. 2015 is shaping up to be a very exciting year indeed.”
