BUSINESS owners in the Wyre Forest constituency are having the chance to quiz candidates in the upcoming General Election.

The Federation of Small Businesses is organising a business focussed hustings and networking meeting at The Point in Market Street, Kidderminster on Monday, April 20 from 5.30pm – 7.30pm.

The event includes a panel of Parliamentary candidates, including Dr Matthew Lamb of the Labour Party, the Green Party’s Natalie McVey and Mark Garnier, the Conservative MP, who is standing for a second term. Anyone booking for this event can submit a business related question via the booking link at www.fsb.org.uk/092 or by emailing FSB at angela.fitch@fsb.org.uk

The formal panel session will be followed by a networking session, providing a chance to meet candidates and fellow business owners in an informal environment.

Judi Brazkiewicz, chairman for FSB Worcestershire, said: "Many people are undecided about who they will vote for when they go to the polls next month and FSB provides a perfect opportunity to meet the individual candidates who hope to represent them for the next five years. The evening has been specifically created with business owners in mind, those who employ local people and who do so much for both the local and national economy. This joint event with Kidderminster College, is open to anyone and we hope to get a good mix of people from across Wyre Forest.”

Space is limited and admission will be to ticket holders only. To book a place and submit a question today visit the FSB’s local website at www.fsb.org.uk/092 and click on the calendar event for April 20.
