A FURNITURE retail store has re-opened in Worcester after a complete refurbishment.
Hallowood Furniture in The Shambles now has a new 3,000 sq ft showroom spread over two floors, features the new look Hallowood branding and displays ranges of Oak and painted furniture, including a huge selection of dining tables, chairs and bedroom furniture.
The Worcester store is the flagship of the Malvern-based business and was re-opened by the Mayor of Worcester, Cllr Roger Knight, accompanied by his wife Freda, the Mayoress.
Mrs Mengyao Wu, joint managing director of Hallowood Furniture, said “My husband Xiaoqiang and I are pleased to see the very first store we opened six years ago, get such a dramatic make over. It is now truly transformed and shows Hallowood furniture off to its best. Our continued investment in the business has included purchasing a new head office building in Malvern and three new stores this year alone, but we are still proud to say we are very much a family orientated business.”
