A PICTURE of his pet dog sitting in a deckchair has won a year's supply of doggie treats for a Malvern photographer.

The prize, which presumably will be more appreciated by Hetty, a one years old Norfolk terrier, than owner Geoff Turrell, was for taking top spot in the Visit Worcestershire and Fish4Dogs’ summer photo competition.

It was launched earlier this year as part of the Visit Woofcestershire campaign, which aims to help visitors enjoy the summer holidays with their dogs. This provides details of dog friendly accommodation in the county and encourages visitors to make the most of Worcestershire’s beautiful countryside and walks.

The picture that earned the winner a year’s supply of doggy treats from Fish4Dogs of Ruckock, near Drpoitwich, features Hetty relaxing on a deck chair at Croome Park, near Worcester.

Mr Turrell said: “We are delighted for us and for Hetty that we have won this competition. With the Malvern Hills right on our doorstop and dog friendly attractions like Croome nearby, Worcestershire is a fantastic place for people who love dogs and for the dogs themselves”.

Fish4Dogs supplies fresh, natural fish-based foods which benefit a dogs coat and skin condition, joint mobility and weight control and provide them with a healthy balance of naturally occurring Omega 3.
