A WORCESTER new homes site manager has been named as one of the best in the UK.

Andy Addis, who works for Lioncourt Homes, which is headquartered in Wainwright Road, has received a National Housebuilding Council Pride in the Job Quality Award for his development at Saxon Meadows in Kempsey, beating competition from 13,000 other site managers across the Midlands.

Mr Addis not only won the Top 100 Quality Award for Saxon Meadows, he also went on to scoop two further awards that place him as one of the top performing site managers in the UK and his development as one of the highest quality sites in the UK.

At the award dinner at the ICC in Birmingham, Mr Addis received a seal of excellence and this was followed by being crowned as the regional winner for the west region of the UK. He will now go forward to the final in London to compete against the winners of the other nine UK regions and a chance to be crowned supreme champion for 2016.

Lioncourt Homes chief executive Colin Cole said: "We are delighted that Andy has won this award which is a reflection of the very high standards that he sets himself and his team. Andy has also been exceptionally well supported by George, his assistant site manager, together with Dave, Joe and his loyal and dedicated team of contractors. Everyone at Lioncourt Homes is focused on quality of workmanship, quality of design and quality of service and this award to great credit to everyone."

Lioncourt is one of only 14 housebuilders in the UK to be holders of the five star quality status and this latest award for Mr Addis endorses the reputation of the Lioncourt Group. The standard requires more than 90 per cent customer satisfaction and is based on direct and independent customer feedback to the NHBC and is awarded by the House Builders Federation.
