SCAIFF Solicitors has raised £1,050 for St. Richard’s Hospice by encouraging people to make Wills during Wills Week.

Throughout September, the legal firm in Foregate Street, Worcester offered its expertise in drawing up wills for individuals and couples with donations going to the hospice.

Kimberley Gaffey, legal executive at Scaiff, said, "We are delighted to be able to support St. Richards Hospice as part of Wills Week. The hospice offers excellent, free specialist palliative care, comfort and compassion to patients with life-limiting illnesses and supports their families.

"As a firm we are committed to supporting the wider Worcestershire community. St. Richard’s Hospice has touched the lives of many of our clients and loved ones and we are keen to support St. Richard’s as they enter the next phase of their expansion."

Rachel Jones, fundraising manager at St. Richard’s, added: "We appreciate hugely the time and effort given to the scheme by Kimberley and all the support staff at Scaiff LLP, we know it takes a real commitment of time to write these Wills for our supporters. It is great that people can use this initiative to get their affairs in order, whilst at the same time helping our patients and families across Worcestershire. Thank you to everyone who took part in our September Write a Will Scheme."
