WORCESTER-based media communications company has enjoyed an expansion, by adding publishing to its portfolio.

Chris Green Media (CGM), a media, communications and marketing team which has an office in Beeston Gardens, has launched its own publishing imprint, CGM Books.

It will also be running book writing training courses, which provide would be authors with the information they need to decide whether to write their story including how to research and write a book and get it published and marketed.

In addition, the service will also organise sports author talks by CGM managing partner Chris Green and the company's media training partners.

They include Tom Watt, ghost writer of David Beckham's autobiography My Side, biographer Lance Hardy and acclaimed photographer Stuart Roy Clarke.

They will be giving talks on the joys and perils of writing sports books, and how to handle different genres and styles.

Chris Green is writing the first two CGM books, including Rebuilding the Belief - the sequel to his award-nominated work on football youth development Every Boy’s Dream.

He is also writing Soul Business, CGM’s ethos for a better way of business life.

Mr Green has also co-authored Cyrille Regis – My Story, and his other books are The Sack Race: The Story of Football’s Gaffers, Matchday: What Makes Saturday Special? and Football Confidential: Scams, Scandals and Screw Ups.

“This is a natural move for CGM as our team has extensive expertise in this area having written their own successful books,” said Mr Green.

“As well as writing books, we can design, publish and promote them too. If you have a story to tell, let us tell it for you.”
