THE mindset of innovation is the subject of a talk being held at the University of Worcester Arena next month.

The Worcestershire Innovation (WINN) event, formed by Worcestershire County Council and the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), is holding the event entitled Q=VA Filling the Well.

A range of speakers, all from Worcestershire businesses, will be exploring the connection between physical and mental wellbeing, as well as the mindset of innovation.

Attendees will also be treated to complimentary food and refreshments, with a number of opportunities for networking.

The free to attend session takes place between 5pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday, February 8, with representatives from businesses of all sizes from across Worcestershire being encouraged to register.

Gary Woodman, chief executive of Worcestershire LEP, said: “Worcestershire benefits from the innovation of its growing businesses and the upcoming WINN Wednesday event will enable more companies to start innovating and to continue their development. I would therefore urge local businesses to register their place for the event via the WINN website”

Councillor Dr Ken Pollock, cabinet member with responsibility for economy, skills and infrastructure at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Innovation plays a fundamental role in helping businesses to expand and boost their productivity.

"Through innovation, businesses will be able to grow their own presence and potentially enter new markets.

"I would certainly recommend attending the next WINN Wednesday as an opportunity for your business to network with high-profile industry experts and leading innovators.”

Registration for WINN Wednesday is available via the WINN website at winn-hub.com.
