AN exciting new sports activity is set to be introduced at the Pavillion in the Park.

American style, extreme adventure golf is set to make an appearance at the popular venue in Cripplegate Park.

There has been no announcement on when the nine hole crazy golf course will open to the public, the owners of Pavilion at the moment saying it will be later in the year.

The unique course has been designed and will be constructed by HM Adventure Golf, which is one of the UK’s leading creators of bespoke Adventure Golf Courses.

The dedicated team of theming artists and constructors HM Adventure Golf has built up expertise and experience in this niche market having delivered numerous projects previously across the UK.

The course is set to feature dinosaurs and a stunning waterfall, the authentic rock and fossil formations created by the team, all designed to provide a fun and interesting attraction for all ages.

The putting greens will be shaped and formed and will provide a real challenge to the more serious golfer.

Owners, the Thompson family, say that it will be an exciting new leisure facility, enhancing their restaurant.

Rob Thompson said: "We will be providing a much needed attraction to the west of the city.

"It is not only suitable for children but for people of all ages and provides a stepping stone to golf for everyone as well as being a fun packed activity."
