Staff impress mystery shopper

STAFF at Thomson travel agents in Worcester’s CrownGate Shopping Centre are flying high after scoring top marks in a mystery shopper test for a national travel publication.

The firm was one of four travel agencies to be visited in Worcester by a mystery representative of the magazine Travel Weekly, who tested the service, product knowledge and initiative of staff by posing as a customer looking to book a holiday in Las Vegas.

Thomson staff scored 88 per cent in the test.

The was the highest mark out of the four firms visited.

Branch spokesman Amy Baker said: “We are absolutely delighted with the score and think it proves how enthusiastic and dedicated all the staff here are in offering our customers the best possible service.”

Erica Burlace, CrownGate centre manager, said: “I am very proud of all the staff at Thomsons.

“They clearly offer customers excellent service and their enthusiasm and love for the job is plain to see. They are a credit to CrownGate.”
