New clinic is to specialise in non-surgical treatments

A NEW Worcester-based clinic specialising in non-surgical cosmetic procedures has opened.

In a Victorian gatehouse in the grounds of Spire South Bank Hospital in Bath Road, The Lodge will offer a variety of non-invasive procedures including fillers and skin-tightening procedures for those wishing to retain a youthful complexion. In addition, skin-smoothing treatments such as microdermabrasion – which can be used to treat acne scars and is said to be favoured by celebrities such as Victoria Beckham – are available.

Mr Dalvi Humzah, cosmetic surgeon, explained: “Over the past few years, cosmetic procedures have shifted from the preserve of the rich and famous to form an integral part of many people’s beauty routine and indeed, last year was a record year for Midlanders seeking treatments.

“All treatments are delivered by trusted experts in a safe, relaxed environment which conform to exacting medical guidelines.”

Ben Nicholson, hospital director, said: “Over the years, South Bank has built an enviable reputation for patient care. At The Lodge, we believe everyone should be treated with the respect they deserve and quality is central to our philosophy.”
