Same firm but a new name

AN established law firm in Worcestershire has a new name and new offices.

So it’s hello to Lumsdons Solicitors LLP and goodbye to outgoing name Lumsdon Grindley – one of the county’s best known solicitors having been founded in 1947.

The rebranding coincides with a short step from Lumsdon’s former home in Foregate Street, Worcester, to more contemporary offices alongside Clydesdale Bank at 9-10 The Tything, Worcester, a Georgian building once occupied by mail order giants Kays.

Although Lumsdons retains its administrative centre in Stourport-on-Severn, the Worcester office move will ensure the practice can develop its client-oriented service by being physically closer to Worcester’s community of small businesses to the north of the city centre.

A new website – lumsdonsllp.com – is another facet of the transformation led by incoming practice director Peter Tibke, who said: “The partners felt we needed a modern name in tune with our progression as a forward-thinking practice.”
