Striving to make workplace better

THE Worcestershire project Wellness Works, part of the Living Well West Midlands portfolio and funded by the BIG Lottery Fund, hosted a presentation morning in Malvern for a number of organisations which have passed the ILM Award in health and wellbeing management.

Wellness Works commissioned independent well-being and management consultants Lifecraft, which developed the ILM health and well-being management award, to deliver the training course to a mix of not-for-profit and private employers in Worcestershire for the first time during last year.

The qualification, which is also endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management, focuses on ways to implement health and wellbeing into workplace environments.

Participants in the six day course came from a number of organisations across Worcestershire, including Asha Women’s Centre of Worcester and Kidderminster, Shop Direct and Maggs Day Centre, both Worcester, Community First and Festival Housing of Malvern, Rethink and Bromsgrove District Housing Trust.
