Creating one-stop shop for services

TWO established Worcestershire firms are coming together to provide a one-stop professional service.

Lumsdons Solicitors LLP, which has changed its name from Lumsdon Grindley, and chartered accountants Ormerod Rutter, which has offices in Droitwich and Bromsgrove, will join up at new premises in Worcester. Although there is no formal link between the businesses and they will not be working exclusively with one another, they will share offices in a Georgian building once occupied by mail order giant Kays in the Tything.

Peter Tibke, practice director at Lumsdons, which has moved its Worcester office from Foregate Street to larger, more contemporary premises, said: “There are mutual benefits which make common sense. Some of our clients will find it convenient to take advantage of two separate services under one roof.”

Garry Rutter, of Ormerod Rutter, said: “Moving to Worcester represents an exciting step for us and continued expansion of our practice, which is already well-established in Droitwich and Bromsgrove. Sharing premises with a highly reputable firm like Lumsdons is a win-win situation as we both provide an expert, professional and personal service for our clients.”
