WORCESTERSHIRE law firm Harrison Clark hosted a free business seminar at Worcester Warriors Rugby Club to shed light on the complex legal aspects of the transport and logistics world.

The event was chaired by Robert Capper, partner and head of commercial business at Harrison Clark, with speakers Katie Lote and Andrew Cave, also from Harrison Clark, as well as Brett Griffiths, of Lean Transition Solutions and Emma Hallam, of HSBC.

Discussions covered a range of essential topics, including the differences in protection afforded by standard industry terms and long-term supply agreements, the benefits of using lean processes, international business support and protecting your business when a contract ends.

The seminar is part of an ongoing series led by Harrison Clark’s legal ex-perts to help companies through the many legal aspects of business. Each event focuses on one of the firm’s many sector specialisms.

Mr Capper said: “Our work in the logistics sector is ever expanding and we wanted to share our expertise with businesses in the sector.”
