Keith takes the hot seat at hospital

THERE is a new head at BMI Droitwich Spa Hospital.

Keith Cunningham has moved to the private hospital in St Andrews Road, Droitwich, after three years as executive director at Birmingham’s BMI Priory Hospital.

Independently-compiled figures for the hospital recently showed patient satisfaction levels on a high, with 99.9 per cent of people questioned saying they were treated with “respect and dignity” and 99.2 per cent saying they would definitely recommend the hospital to others.

Now, Mr Cunningham is preparing for further improvements at the hospital with permanent MRI and CT scanners installed in the new year while also looking to improve oncology services over the next 12 months.

He said: “It is a very exciting time for BMI Droitwich Spa. The hospital already has an excellent reputation in the region and we plan to build on that by improving facilities and services throughout 2012.”
