Pupils win business contest
5:27pm Friday 13th July 2012 in Business
WIN: Isobel Taylor, Toby Edwards, James Kerry, teacher John Palmer, George Aston, Chloe Reeley and Michelle Hannett from Ballard Dale Syree Watson.
A TEAM of pupils from the Chase showed they have what it takes to succeed in business by achieving top marks in a national competition.
James Kerry, George Aston, Isobel Taylor, Chloe Reeley and Toby Edwards worked with Droitwich-based accountants Ballard Dale Syree Watson and received 10 votes out of 12 from the judging panel in the Business, Accountancy and Skills Education (BASE) event.
Aimed at 16-18-year-olds, the event was organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
John Palmer, head of ICT and business at the Chase, said: “We are delighted to win this excellent, high quality national event.
“In an increasingly competitive world, we need to give our students that something extra they can use to raise their profiles.”
