THE man with a big white beard and bright red suit will ride into Worcester on sunday.

Father Christmas will be arriving in the city and there'll be a crowd pleasing procession to lead him through the High Street and to his CrownGate Shopping Centre grotto.

Children and grown-ups are invited to join him, from 1pm, as his makes his way from the Guidhall, down the High Street, along The Cross and down into Friary Walk, all the while sitting comfortable in his horse-drawn carriage.

Accompanying him will be the Jazz Ramblers playing Christmas tunes.

Father Christmas will be in his grotto until Sunday, December 23. Opening from 12pm to 4pm on Monday to Wednesday and Fridays; from 12pm to 4pm on Thursdays; 10am to 4pm on Saturdays; and 12pm to 2pm on Sundays.

Tomorrow, the grotto will be open from 12pm to 4pm and DJs from Sunshine Radio will also be there.
