BUSINESS entrepreneur and executive director of company Avatar, Revathi Timms, paid a visit to pupils of the Heart of Worcestershire College, ahead of rolling out a new course to them.
From September, Miss Timms will be offering a 3D Printing Essential training course at the college, giving students the opportunity to explore the world of 3D printing.
She said: "It is vital that people have the opportunity to operate and gain skills in digital fabrication, the future of manufacturing and also bring manufacturing in to the hands of the consumers."
The course will guide students through the printing process; from creating a design using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software package or a scanner to bringing their model to life using the Ingenium 3D Printer.
