THE Big Apple was the destination for students from Tudor Grange Academy Worcester.
There were 41 students and eight staff from the school who went on a trip to New York city in the US.
Students visited sights such as the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State building, the Rockefeller Centre and Times Square.
The students ranged from Year 8 to Year 13 and benefited vastly from the experience which, for most, was their first time visiting somewhere outside Europe.
The trip focused on curriculum based topics within GCSE and A Level Geography and History, such as tourism and urban planning for Geography and immigration and slavery for History.
The students enjoyed their experiences at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and the American Museum of Natural History, as well as tours in Chinatown, Little Italy and Central Park.
The students walked for a staggering 62 miles during the trip and enjoyed dinners at Hard Rock Cafe and Ellen's Stardust Diner complete with entertainment from singing waiting staff keen to break into Broadway.
