Cricket stars will help unveil latest lines at new-look shop
THIS evening, some VIP guests will be heading to a menswear retailer in Worcester.
Pockets in Friar Street is holding a star-studded launch of its new-look Worcester store with Worcestershire County Cricket Club players Ben Smith and Matt Mason.
Customers will get a sneak preview of the 2010 spring/summer collections from leading luxury brands such as Paul Smith, Stone Island, CP Company, Armani and Ralph Lauren.
Kate Oliver, the manager of the Worcester store, said: “We are all really excited about the event – previewing stock to loyal customers and unveiling the Worcester store’s new look is a great way to spend an evening. What an incredible way to add to the celebration with Ben and Matt’s attendance.”

The branch of the cosmetics chain on Worcester’s High Street is opening its doors to all mums for an afternoon of decadent pampering on March 14.
The 1950s-themed afternoon will feature free hand massages, foot massages and facials, along with tea and cakes.
While mum is being pampered and preened, kids can colour in their special Mother’s Day cards.
Lush has also designed a selection of limited edition gifts and products especially for Mother’s Day, including a hatbox (£25.95) containing a selection of bath and body products to spoil and pamper, and a bunch of ballistics bathbombs (£3.50 each) which look like chrysanthemums and offer a quirky alternative to flowers.
