WORCESTER lighting designer and manufacturer Green Lighting has received its Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation.

The company headquartered on Great Western Business Park gained the award in this year's list and it was presented by the Queen’s representative in the county, the Lord Lieutenant, Lt Col Patrick Holcroft.

Managing director Anthony Ottway said: "I would like to thank our clients, suppliers and in particular the team at Green Lighting for all their support in helping us achieve our Queen’s Award. Our sales and support team set out to change the way 'snag lists' were dealt with, taking responsibility for all of our products, pre and post installation. In busy times, resolving customer care issues can sometimes take longer than expected, thus resulting in frustration for the customer.

"Green Lighting’s innovatively designed products with screw less fast fix connections, allow contractors to fit with ease and offer minimal disruption when remedial work is required and undertaken by ourselves. Providing outstanding customer service makes me very proud, we will enjoy this moment and continue to work hard to honour the award for both our company and customers.”
