An amazing tale about a young girl called Lizzy whose mother and brother are mermaids and her father is a human. But she lives with a family on land.

She’s protecting a black shell from the evil mermaid Taran. She hasn’t seen her for ages but her sister, Rose, has been acting very strangely recently. Could this have something to do with Taran?

This book really shocked me! I didn’t expect to enjoy and I did!

The cover is really dramatic and so is the story!

Louise Cooper really described it well and I had a perfect picture in my head of what was happening. I really enjoyed this book.
