REVIEW

by Lauren Fowler, Bishop Perowne C of E College

The spear of Odin is about the Vikings.

A ruler called Theobold dies and his son takes over but he is not the best of rulers and is very horrible. In chapter 2 it goes back to the future and this boy called Adam knows about the Spear of Odin.

Legend says that who ever the spear land on next there will be war. They find a hidden door in the mud.

When Adam gets in it is like a maze, but unluckily for him the ghost of Theobold is in the maze. Then they have a big fight and Adam wins.

I think this book is suitable for ages 12+ because there are a lot of hard words in the book. I enjoyed this book even though I am not into Viking books. I give it 8 out of 10.

REVIEW:
I loved this book because of lots of reasons, here are a few.

It was a great book because of all the excitement and tension. As you read along it dragged you in like you are a fly on a spiders web. Its all about adventure and makes you feel like you are actually there!
