Trixie the Witch's Cat by Nick Butterworth

It's not easy being different, and it's expecially hard for children desperate to fit in with their peers. Nick Butterworth's tale about Trixie, the witch's cat self-conscious about being the only one who's not completely black, is the ideal way to teach youngsters the beauty of individuality and diversity. Trixie is so bothered by her white paw that she concocts a spell to make it black, before discovering that she actually quite likes standing out from the crowd after all.
Gloriously illustrated, this is a book that gets its message across subtly and humorously.
