Review

Little Acorns is great fun - and not just for children.

Parents can relax with a beverage while their offspring clamber over the giant padded climbing frame, or can accompany smaller children around the structure.

There are plenty of wacky obstacles to negotiate and rooms to explore, not to mention a giant slide and the obligatory ball pit.

For tots who many want more gentle entertainment, there are two smaller padded areas where they can play in sight of their parents.

The converted gym may not be luxurious, but it's a pleasant enough place to spend a couple of hours.

You can even have lunch there. At just £4.95 a child, it won't break the bank, either.

I have been to Little Acorns on several occassions since it opened and can honestly say this place is a life saver !!! My 3 year old is totally safe in the huge play area and it keeps him occupied whilst I can relax and have a coffee read a magazine and just have a few precious hours to myself. The homemade healthy food is fantastic and both myself and my 3 year old have a brilliant time every time we go there. As soon as I start to unwind after a cuppa i find myself flying down the slide and tearing around with my son who absolutely loves our play time here. Brilliant !!

VERY EXPENSIVE!
My wife and 3 children (4 and twins <14 months) went there today. Although a nice place it cost nearly £15 !!!! When asked why toddlers were charged full price we were told this was just policy. We shall certainly be recommending to the Twins Club members and our pre-school members with toddlers <18 months old that this is a place to miss unless you want to pay 2-3x the costs elsewhere.

Awful. Unfinished. Changing facilities very poor. Security on the main doors is non existent and the fire doors are kept open in the main play area so if you have more than one child you need two adults about to make sure they do not escape. The owner is rude and plainly sees all his customers as cash cows ready to be ripped off. Suprised that health and safety are allowing them to trade.

Have just returned from taking my children to this GREAT playcentre. Barely saw the children in the three hours we were there!! I am amazed by the comments of some other people. This is a business and needs to be run as such, do people ask for discounts at the sea life centre or any other major attractions just because their chidren are toddlers?! This playcentre has invested money in its centre and provides playframes targeting little ones so why should they not pay the same as bigger children, they get the same fun.
