THE headteacher of Pershore High School has been invited to attend two events to celebrate the school’s successes.

Clive Corbett will attend two dinners in London in recognition of the school’s 2009 GCSE and equivalent exams. The celebrations will acknowledge these successes in: ● 60 per cent of pupils achieving five or more A* – C grades, including English and maths.

● 53.7 per cent (national average) or more pupils achieving two or more A*-C results in science subjects.

● 31.6 per cent (national average) or more pupils achieving an A*-C result in a modern foreign languages.

● The number of pupils achieving five or more A*- C results improving year on year from 2006-2009 by 15 per cent or more.
