A CAREERS convention will be held at Malvern’s Three Counties Showground this month.

The Upton and Malvern consortium of schools will hold the event in the Severn Hall so that pupils in years eight to 13 and their parents can find out more about a wide range of careers.

The free event is on Monday, March 22, between 6pm and 8.30pm.

It will include representatives from local sixth forms, colleges of further and higher education, universities, private training providers, the national apprenticeship service, Aim Higher and the Connexions careers service. The Diploma Roadshow will also be there to talk about the new diplomas running in south Worcestershire.

Sandra Howells, manager of the schools consortium, said: “Members of the Armed Forces, local businesses and professionals will also be onhand to discuss careers.”
