Crowning of the Mistletoe Queen.

Tenbury Wells is the renowned centre for Holly and Mistletoe and in accordance with tradition the Head Girl of Tenbury High School is crowned every year as ‘The Mistletoe Queen’ . Her duties will be to preside at the annual Mistletoe Festival in Tenbury Wells, which this year take place on December 6th.

The school always gives their pupils a preview and Claire Blakeway was crowned in assembly this week by Mr P Brown, a much valued member of staff, who will be leaving school at Christmas. She will be ‘properly’ crowned at the Festival next Saturday.

This year also marks another ‘first’ because the Head Boy, Phillip Morris is also officiating as Holly King.
