A TEACHER at Tenbury High School has gone into print with a book about vampires.

If this seems an unusual topic for a teacher then it may seem even more so for a former vicar. Darren Bailey, who worked as a minister in Herefordshire for many years, said that although the book was based in ancient times and included aspects of history, it was a work of fiction.

He said that having got a passion for writing, it would not be his last and there were plans for another book in a more modern setting.

Teaching and writing are relatively new careers for Darren, who has spent the greater part of his working life as a vicar, including a number of years working in parishes in Herefordshire.
