FREE sports sessions are on offer for city youngsters and teenagers.
A 10-week scheme is starting on Saturday, January 30, aimed at eight to 16-year-olds.
The sessions will happen at Medway Road in Ronkswood from 10am until noon and at the City Centre Community Centre in Midland Road from 12.30pm until 2pm.
The sessions, run by Worcester City Council, are a bid to boost fitness and health among the city’s youngsters.
Hannah Bishop, community development worker, said: “Some of the children we work with may not always have the opportunity to take part in organised activities so we are absolutely delighted to be able to offer them a variety of sports to take part in.
“The sessions will take place during the weekends and out of school hours, ensuring boredom is kept at bay and health and fitness become a real focus.”
