A SMALL school in Peopleton has achieved unprecedented success in a National Cross-Country competition.
A number of students from Bowbrook House School near Pershore competed in the ISA Midlands Championship Cross- Country event at Bedstone College, Shropshire, in which Helen Reeves and Hannah Bilson finished first in their age groups.
Team-mates Harry Sykes was second, Toby Alliband third, Nick Martin 7th, Liam Tustin 8th and Eleanor Hennerly was 10th.
The impressive results ensured that all seven qualified to represent the Midlands team at the ISA National Championships in Rugby.
Reeves went on to win her race to become the senior ISA national champion and ‘Outstanding Girl Runner’ of the day.
