Summer Weather Part Two

Through July or mid summer the weather remains warm and often dry, although we have experienced some very wet July's with flooding. The temperature usually balances out and although some hot days are likely, the feel of a normal July is not hot or cold, somewhere between.

In some years some days of thunderstorms can be expected especially between the 7th and 14th with some flash flooding. Cloud tend to be in variable amounts. The fresh young lush foliage of spring-tide is replaced by a harsh darker green look to tree and shrub. Every living thing tend to sway with these mediocre mid summer days, they are very blissful and bland.

The eventide and twilight period are often very sublime, with the scent from the wild flower meadows and garden flowers being carried by the soft evening breeze. The nights tend to be warm and fairly humid, with haze gliding across the pastureland at the paling of the dawn time sky. These are truly the hazy crazy days of summer as the song suggests.

Next Week: Summer Part 3.

Glossary: Evaporation: The change from liquid to gas.
