Harmony with Nature

EVERYTHING revolves around our climate, our weather is needed to allow all living things to survive, of course without the heat and light from the Sun, weather would not exist and most living creatures and and human beings would not continue. So the Earth is positioned in the ideal spot to receive the correct balance of light and heat to allow things to survive. However, over millions of years the climate slips in and out of certain patterns, warmer and colder phases, wetter and drier times, thus changing the globe we live on.

When all is in tune, the weather and all living things are in harmony with one another. The seasons come and go, the plant, animal and insect world flows and ebbs with the passing year. But sometimes we find Mother Nature spinning out of control, bringing weather out of character of a certain season and that can throw everything out. Cold frosty springs can damage the fruit blossom, the honey bees cannot pollinate to encourage the fruit to form. Birds will nest and find food short in supply to feed their young. The onset of spring delayed, with the plant life many weeks behind. During scorching hot summers, the countryside becomes tinder dry creating high fire risk. Through wet periods torrential rains can cause widespread flooding. But as we travel through the days, months and years, Mother Nature often balances her books, we return to some normality and the climate settles down again.

All living things work well when we have harmony with nature, when everything moves along nicely and is well balanced. The correct amount of precipitation and sunshine, the ideal temperature, when the weather clings near to normal.

It is when the climate moves away from the norm and is out of harmony with nature, that we find the power of Mother Nature casting her hand, changing all in her way, a force greater than man, nothing can fight against that awesome power, it has always been this way, and will remain so as long as this wonderful planet we all live on exists.
