The trend for 2009 is going to be the colour blue, whether it is a dress, jeans, t-shirts or skirts. This colour matched up with bright colours such as red, orange and yellow will look fantastic.
In addition, for this season floral prints are back in, so if you see a dress in floral print that you like then buy it and team it up with some sexy shoes and accessories. The ‘maxi dress’ is also going to be very popular this year in floral and their will be some great geometrical patterns. Denim as always, will be very popular in the coming year and as always can be dressed up or down, jeans will be skinny legs that can be worn with either flat of knee-high boots. Accessorised with either a chunky belt or scarves.
For the summer Capri pants will be popular teamed up with a great stylish t-shirt and a pair of nice flat pumps or ballet type shoes.
If you are looking for party wear, then 2009 is all set to welcome the one-shoulder dresses with open arms. You can use belts and stiletto heels to spice up the look further.
This is the year that sequins are going to dominate many outfits. The look will be short dresses, adorned with many sequins and combined with a nice pair of suede ankle boots, will look fantastic.
Today accessories form a big part of your everyday wear and there are lots of great choices from belts, chains, scarves, along with chunky earrings and bracelets.
Another great accessories that every girl needs is a handbag. This year’s look is fake crocodile or patent leather that is sure to make heads turns. You can also go for plain monogram purses, suitable for any and every occasion.
Flat shoes will be popular this year and there are many styles to choose from which will compliment any outfit, from patterned slip-ons, strappy sandals to ballet shoes, the choice is entirely yours. Also look out for comfortable and stylish canvas flats, which will be great for summer.
