Why I love this person:

I adore Marylyn Monroe because she was such a stunning, curvy woman and wore the most amazing figure hugging dresses ever. She was happy with her body and was never afraid to wear anything out of the ordinary. I feel that she reflects how women should dress and shows women that you can be curvy and sexy at the same time. Being curvy and dressing to emphasise her curves were defiantly Marylyn’s strong points.

Most iconic outfit:

This is possibly the most iconic picture ever! This dress was especially made for a film called “The Seven Year Itch”. Marylyn wore this dress to promote the film. The dress shows off Marylyn’s legs and thighs. It also showed women it was ok to wear big pants!

What else makes them so great?

Marylyn Monroe was great for so many reasons. She was such a stunning woman she could act and sing and could pretty much do anything she desired. She was also very popular with the President of America in the fifties.

Fashion Faux pas:

Marylyn loved her body and she loved it so much she agreed to pose naked. This made her publicity drop a lot in America and she was seen to be the wrong type of girl to mix with. I think it was ok for Marylyn to pose naked tastefully as she had shown the world it was amazing to be a curvy natural woman.
