Spend some quality family time at Croome Park, as the property opens every day during the half term week.
The National Trust owned landscaped park near Pershore will be open daily between 14 and 22 February, from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors can enjoy a gentle stroll through the Pleasure Garden or take a longer walk following one of the way-marked routes. A booklet of walks can be picked up from visitor reception, which highlights points of interest along the routes.
Children can pick up a set of ‘top trunks’ cards to discover more about the many trees in the park and their global origins.
Once everyone has built up an appetite why not enjoy a slice of tempting home-made cake in the 1940s style canteen. There is also a range of light lunches available, including sandwiches, soup and a selection of drinks.
Caroline Livingston, Visitor Services Manager says: “Take a break from the hassles of home and work and let the children run free.
“Everyone needs some time out, and Croome Park is the perfect place to spend a few hours with the family.”
From 28 March there will be a variety of themed guided walks, family trails and children’s activities running throughout the year. Details can be found on the website at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/thingstodo.
Croome Park will be open from Wednesdays to Sundays from 4 March to 29 March and will then be open again every day from 30 March to 31 August.
