Stuck for ideas to keep your children entertained during the holidays?

FAMILIES are being encouraged to visit Worcestershire museums.

Worcestershire County Council's Family Information Service (FIS) is a way for parents to find out what is happening locally. The booklet details what is on offer throughout the year, from days out on boats and trains to visits to museums and farms.

The FIS also offers free impartial information and advice to families with children aged up to 19 years old.

Helen Middleton, family information officer at the council, said: "With the school holiday fast approaching, the new family activities booklet is ideal for people planning a family day out."

To order a booklet call 01905 790560 or email familyinfo@worcestershire.gov.uk.
