IF YOU want some real egg-citement then make a break for the trees, inspire your tribe and grab a Go Ape adventure. Egging on your ape mates is this Easter’s ultimate activity…
Egg on: To stir action or feeling: excite, galvanize, instigate, motivate.
Go Ape: Unforgettable tree top adventures: 26 forest locations in the UK, awesome experiences, breathtaking views, natural highs, lots of laughs.
Tree trekking 40ft above the forest floor at the first flush of spring invigorates your fun-loving monkey in ways you can’t imagine. Take a walk on the wild side and book some high-flying tree time at your nearest Go Ape in Wyre Forest near Kidderminster where you can tackle a giant obstacle course up in the trees with ladders, walkways, bridges, tunnels and wind-in-your-face zip wires.
Before you release your inner ape in to the wild you’ll be kitted out with all the gear; harnesses, pulleys and karabiners. A Go Ape instructor will show you the ropes in a safety briefing and then you’re free to swing, climb, crawl and zip through the trees. Tarzan call training is not included, but this usually comes naturally during a Go Ape adventure.
The Go Ape experience is proper playground stuff offering around three hours of adrenaline-fuelled fun that can be shared with almost anyone over ten years old. Who knew that this much fresh air, freedom and sense of extreme achievement could be better than chocolate eggs?
Wyre Forest is home to some of the most ecologically significant woodlands in England. So why not Go Ape in one of Britain's largest remaining ancient woodlands. There are 40 crossings in total. Keep an eye out for the Tibetan Bridge at site 4, which is the longest crossing on the course at 17m in length. You will also feel the adrenalin rush as you zip down to the ground on the longest zip slide on site 4, which stretches 160m from the platform to the ground. Check out all 26 adventures on the Go Ape website to see what else you can get up to at each Go Ape adventure.
Go Ape adventures are buzzing during peak times so don’t miss out on your time to climb.
