THE vice president of the Elgar Society will be giving a concert at Worcester Cathedral on Saturday from 7.30pm.
The concert will include one of Dr Donald Hunt's own compositions, the Song of Joy combined with the Fantasia on a theme of Thomas Tallis by Vaughan Williams, and Elgar's Enigma Variations and The Music Makers.
The soloist in the latter will be Catherine Wyn-Rogers and also performing will be the Elgar Chorale, the Worcester Cathedral Chamber Choir and the English Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets cost £25, £20, £18, £10 and £8 and are available from the Worcester Live Box Office, Huntington Hall, Crowngate or by calling 01905 611427.
