THE group that brought Pro-ject Warehouse to Worcester is returning with a brand new venture.

Pro-ject Warehouse, which saw regular house music nights held from inside a warehouse on Sheriff Street, closed its doors in August this year after opening in May 2014.

Pro-ject owner, James Newman, said the warehouse closed because he wanted to fully focus on events he had lined up in Ibiza and London over the summer.

But he will now be opening a new venue, Unit Warehouse, near to the old venue.

The launch night takes place on Saturday, running from 9am until 5am.

James Newman, owner of Unit Warehouse, said: " We have taken influences from Sankeys Ibiza and the Blackbox at Rainbow Warehouse. This venue is going to be a really special place.

"We are opening a fully soundproofed warehouse unit, with a secret indoor chill out room, indoor balcony, custom-designed LED feature wall and Co2 jets built into the ceilings. Basically, it is really pushing boundaries when it comes to production and attention to detail."

Mr Newman says the venues will also be available to hire for private parties, promoter nights, conferences and more.
