A WORCESTER hard rock band, The Loved and Lost, is looking for local support as it prepares to compete in the final of a national competition, against other bands.
The five member band, which was established in 2012, has battled through to the final of the "Unreal Fest – Battle of the Bands", which will be held at The Station, Cannock, on Saturday July 2, from 7pm.
A band spokesman said: "As much local support as possible is required."
He added:"The band has played at many venues, including the O2 in Birmingham, the Marrs Bar Worcester, at the Worcester Music Festival, and at Mappfest in Malvern.
"They have recorded an EP ‘Into A Dream’. All the music is written by members of the band. They are hoping to release a new single soon." The band members include Jordan Quinn (lead vocalist), Ryan Scott ( lead guitar and backing vocals), Dan Fletcher (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Jack Bates ( bass guitar) and Sam Ward (drums).
