AN international organ virtuoso, all the way from Notre Dame in Paris, is to give a concert at Hereford Cathedral.
Virtuoso Olivier Latry will perform there on Tuesday September 6 at 7.15 pm..
A spokesman said: "Monsieur Latry is organist at Notre Dame and has dazzled audiences in over fifty countries. "He is particularly known for his playing of music by French composers such as Louis Vierne and Olivier Messiaen."
Geraint Bowen, director of music at Hereford Cathedral, said: "Olivier is an extraordinary player, one of the two or three finest in the world, and this will be a great opportunity to hear him play our wonderful Willis organ. No-one should miss this concert."
