TWELFTH Day have delivered their long awaited new studio album, and where better to celebrate than in a cafe at Brum?
In fact the folk duo, comprising of Catriona Price (fiddle/vocals) and Esther Swift (harp/vocals), will entertain at the Birmingham Kitchen Cafe on Tuesday April 11.
A spokesman said: "From opposite ends of Scotland, Catriona and Esther started playing together when they were flatmates during their music studies in Manchester.
"Twelfth Day are happy to be hard to define. Classically trained, they bring outstanding technical ability as well as an adventurous mix of folk, jazz and classical influences to their compositions and arrangements - blended with the folklore and inspirations of their respective Scottish Highland and Lowland upbringings."
The spokesman added: "With their latest album Cracks in the Room, Twelfth Day show a new fierceness and strength."
