THIS festive season go with your family and friends to the Bristol Hippodrome for its wonderful pantomime Aladdin – starring local favourite Andy Ford as Wishee Washie, Carol Griffin (Loose Women) as Genie of the Lamp until 17th December, then replaced by big brother winner Josie Gibson and the fabulous dance troupe Flawless.

Running at just under three hours, including an interval, the scenes were smooth and seamless with plenty of humour from Wishee Washie excellently supported by Graham Kent as Widow Twankey who clearly enjoyed themselves and David Roper who was a far too nice Abanazar!

Chris Thatcher (Aladdin) and Zoe George (Jasmine) are a perfect match.

There is some excellent, dancing and singing from the show’s professional ensemble who are supported by talented children from the Bristol School of Performing Arts.

The real stars of the panto are Flawless the eight man street dance crew who wowed the audience with some incredible dance moves, high energy and enthusiasm.

The flying carpet sequence is simply magical.

Judging by the audience reaction it wasn't just the children who were having a good time, as everyone was on their feet at the end - Aladdin runs until 6th January.
