THERE will be a golden opportunity to catch this year's Chippy pantomime Mother Goose which opens on Tuesday, November 18.

The Theatre Chipping Norton is renowned for its pantomimes which have previously attracted visits from Prime Minister David Cameron and television star Amanda Holden.

Packed full of fun and excitement - as well as sweets - it is always a family fun show which has the key panto elements of audience participation, balloons and a host of madness to get everyone excited for Christmas.

This year's pantomime focuses on the plight of Mother Goose who finds herself at the mercy of the money-grabbing Baron von Rumpensmakka.

The Baron intends to increase Mother Goose’s rent but finding she cannot pay decides to marry off her beautiful daughter instead.

Just in time, Mother Goose’s favourite goose starts producing golden eggs - oh yes she does.

After discovering the new found source of money, the Baron decides he must have the goose and the chase is on.

Mother Goose runs until Sunday, January 11
